Paul-Jules Muteau (1856-1927) left in 1926, in addition to beautiful works of art in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, an important donation to the Hôtel-Dieu.

Dégustation : Our Volnay 1er Cru “Cuvée Général Muteau” has a beautiful ruby color. It reveals a nose with aromas of small black fruits, red fruits and spices. It reveals a structured mouth with a good length.

Description

A former student of the Cadre Noir in Saumur, a Cavalry Officer promoted General in 1914, a Staff Officer under General Foch during the First Wold War, Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, decorated with the Croix de Guerre, Paul-Jules Muteau (1856-1927) left in 1926, in addition to beautiful works of art in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, an important donation to the Hôtel-Dieu. The Cuvée is composed of five parcels of Volnay Premier Crus among the best placed.
